1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Revilla & Co website and member portal, and to the services we provide. By using the website, creating an account, starting a trial or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.
Where you have a separate written service agreement or accepted written quote with us, that document applies to that engagement and prevails over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
2. Who you are contracting with
Revilla & Co is operated by Emily Papera, an Australian sole trader, ABN 66 540 873 668. Revilla & Co is a brand only. It is not a company, not a proprietary limited company, and not a separate legal entity. Its business-name registration is pending, so it should not be treated as a registered business name.
Any agreement you enter is with Emily Papera as an Australian sole trader. Registered entity type: Individual / Sole Trader. ABN status: Active. Main business location: NSW 2200.
Not currently registered for GST. Prices are shown in Australian dollars as the total amount payable. No GST is charged on these prices.
3. What we do and what we do not do
We provide relocation planning, housing search guidance, settlement coordination and readiness tracking. We are a support and coordination service.
We do not, and are not licensed to, provide:
- legal advice;
- migration or immigration advice;
- tax or financial advice;
- medical advice;
- real estate agency services, property management or buyer's agency services; or
- employment placement or recruitment services.
Everything on this website and in the portal, including roadmaps, checklists, timelines and guidance, is general information only. It is not advice for your circumstances and it does not take your personal situation into account. Where a matter requires a licensed professional, we will tell you, and you should obtain advice from that professional before you act.
4. No guaranteed outcomes
Relocation outcomes depend on third parties such as landlords, agents, schools, employers, banks, insurers and government agencies. We do not control those parties or their decisions.
We do not guarantee rental application approval, access to any particular property, school placement, visa or residency outcomes, employment, timelines, prices quoted by third parties, or any other specific result.
5. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and use the account only for yourself and your own household. Accounts are individual and must not be shared, resold or transferred.
Trial access, membership and managed-client access each carry their own access period. Access ends when that period ends. We may suspend or close an account that is misused, shared, or used in breach of these terms.
6. Membership, trial and automatic renewal
Membership is AUD $49 per month. New members receive a three-day free trial and a valid payment method is required to start it. Membership begins once our payment provider confirms the subscription and payment method.
Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership continues automatically and your payment method is charged AUD $49 each month until you cancel. Each renewal is authorised by you at signup and no further approval is requested before a renewal charge.
Cancel before your three-day trial ends and you will not be charged. After a paid monthly billing period begins, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access continues until then. We do not generally provide partial refunds for unused time or change of mind. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
You can cancel at any time from Portal → Billing, which opens the secure billing portal operated by our payment provider. If a payment fails, membership access continues for a seven-day grace period while the payment is retried; if it is still unpaid after that period, access ends.
Member data and relocation progress are retained for at least 90 days after cancellation so you can reactivate without losing your work. You must not hold duplicate active or trial memberships.
7. Concierge and one-off services
Concierge services are sold as one-off purchases in Australian dollars. The exact total payable is shown before you proceed to payment. Concierge Support is sold per billable hour and the quantity you select is the number of hours purchased.
Where a service is shown as a "from" price, that amount covers the standard scope described on the service page. Additional scope is quoted separately and only proceeds after your written approval.
Groceries, furniture, delivery charges, utility account costs, tolls, parking, airport access fees and other third-party costs are billed separately at cost and are never included in the service fee.
Payment reserves a booking; it does not confirm a date or time. A paid booking is recorded as awaiting scheduling until a confirmed appointment date and time is agreed in writing. Delivery is subject to destination coverage, service-area confirmation and consultant or approved contractor availability. Where we cannot service your location or the time you need, that booking is refunded in full.
Concierge bundles are available by enquiry only. Bundles are not sold online — we confirm inclusions, service area, scheduling and any third-party costs with you in writing before anything is booked or paid.
8. Payments, currency and our payment provider
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive, handle or store your full card number, card expiry or card security code. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment form.
Australian dollars is our base and settlement currency. Stripe may present and charge an equivalent amount in your local currency; where it does, Stripe displays the currency, converted amount and exchange rate before you confirm, and Stripe's conversion cost is included in that converted amount.
Prices are shown in Australian dollars as the total amount payable. No GST is charged on these prices.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Membership cancellation is covered in section 6. For concierge and one-off services, no automatic cancellation, rescheduling or refund right is offered. Requests are assessed case by case and should be emailed to hello@revillaco.com as early as possible.
Where we cannot deliver a booked service, that booking is refunded in full.
Cancellation and rescheduling (provisional draft)
Draft — subject to final legal review. These terms are not yet legally approved and may change before they take effect.
- More than 48 hours before your confirmed appointment, you may request one reschedule without a Revilla & Co rescheduling fee, subject to availability.
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before your confirmed appointment, we refund the amount you paid, less only reasonable, disclosed and genuinely non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred for that booking.
- Within 48 hours of the appointment, cancellations and rescheduling requests are reviewed case by case. We may retain or recover reasonable costs for work already completed and for genuinely non-recoverable contractor or third-party commitments.
- There is no automatic blanket “no refund” rule. Any amount we retain must be reasonable, supportable and recorded against your booking.
- Additional contractor costs are never charged unless they have been disclosed to you and you have accepted them in writing.
- If Revilla & Co cannot deliver a confirmed service, we will offer you a suitable reschedule or a full refund.
- Emergencies, flight disruption and other exceptional circumstances are escalated for a reasonable case-by-case decision.
- Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Requests are reviewed by an authorised Revilla & Co staff member before any refund or retained amount is decided. Cancellation fees are never applied automatically.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your rights where a service is not provided with due care and skill or is not fit for the purpose you told us about.
10. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate and timely information, to respond to reasonable requests so we can perform the services, and to make your own decisions about properties, contracts, providers and commitments. You are responsible for verifying information before acting on it.
We do not accept documents. We provide planning, coordination and readiness tracking only. Please do not send us — or place in messages, task notes, accessibility notes or any other free-text field — passports, driver licences, visas, identity documents, birth or marriage certificates, bank statements, payslips, tax records, medical records, school records, or any identification, financial or health numbers.
You remain responsible for keeping your own documents. Where an organisation requires a document, submit it directly to that organisation through its official process.
11. Support and communication
Support is provided asynchronously by email and through the message centre in the member portal. It is not a live chat service and no staff member is guaranteed to be online at any given time.
Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm Sydney time, excluding public holidays. We aim to respond within one business day, and in any case within within two business days. Messages sent outside support hours are answered from the next business day.
Support does not include, and must not be used to seek, legal, migration, tax, financial or medical advice.
12. Content and intellectual property
Content, imagery, templates, roadmaps, checklists and branding on this website and in the portal are owned by Emily Papera or licensed to her, unless otherwise stated. You may use materials we provide for your own relocation, but you may not copy, resell, republish, share with non-members or distribute them commercially without written permission.
13. Third-party links and services
The website and portal reference third-party services, listings, providers and resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, conduct or the outcome of any arrangement you enter with them.
14. Australian Consumer Law and liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that applies to you under that law or any other law where it cannot lawfully be excluded. Where any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.
Subject to the paragraph above, and only to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunity, relocation delays, or costs incurred with third parties. Where the law permits us to limit our liability for a service, our liability may be limited to resupplying that service or refunding the fees paid for it.
15. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
16. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the website, the portal, our services and these terms. The current version and its date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes affecting members are communicated by email before they take effect.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
